This is an awesome (I think I already called it awesome already!) collection of cookbooks and tools that I am making available to you today.
Now, I am a chef, a foodie, an “addicted to the food network kind of guy” and that is why I have pulled together this collection for myself over the years. Frankly I will keep adding to it as time goes on so the number of cook books will simply keep growing.
You see, I am a lover of food, cooking, recipes, and kitchen toys. Frankly I am not able to get my hands on enough of them. That is all there is to it.
I decided that I am going to share all of my collection with you today to help spread the love of food!

That listing above is a total of 77 (I just increased it!) 86 cookbooks as well as the Food Facts Database (which I absolutely love!).
But you know I am going to include one other treasure that I think any lover of recipes and food really should have. This book was the first thing that we had to read when I started off in culinary school. The course we were taking was called “Gastronomy”.
Gastronomy is the art and science of good eating. One who is well versed in gastronomy is called a gastronome, while a gastronomist is one who unites theory and practice in the study of gastronomy.
Gastronomy involves discovering, tasting, experiencing, researching, understanding and writing about food preparation and the sensory qualities of human nutrition as a whole. It also studies how nutrition interfaces with the broader culture. Later on, the application of biological and chemical knowledge to cooking has become known as molecular gastronomy, yet gastronomy covers a much broader, interdisciplinary ground.
The derivative Gourmet has come into use since the publication of the book by Brillat-Savarin, “The Physiology of Taste”. According to Brillat-Savarin: “Gastronomy is the knowledge and understanding of all that relates to man as he eats. Its purpose is to ensure the conservation of men, using the best food possible.”

I am including a copy of “The Physiology of Taste” as well as an additional bonus for you. It is a great book that is well worth reading (at least for all of us foodies!).
